    Default Next Album

    Go with what feels right.

Both albums were great. If I had to decide, I'd lean to the raw, home-grown side. Big, over-produced & engineered albums were part of the demise of the 80s hair bands. That, and Nirvana...

I'd rather the band to release an album. I'd rather the band to release an album. Merging the cruel rock of their first album with the environment epic of the Cosmic Egg.

I'm all for anything homegrown. It's hard to go wrong with a good song and a home studio, in my opinion.

If you guys released ANYTHING new i'd love it
Even if it was recorded at home..
we have a home studio as well, and we love recording in it just for fun even if the sound isn't entirely professional. it adds a vintage style to it.

honestly, you should go half/half.some songs deserve that raw sound, some deserve the 'produced' feel. i think you guys portray more energy when you do the home studio thing, its like andrew once said, "you can hear the drums drumming, and the strings being played" haha.

for example, songs like sundial and new moon rising have so much going on, the heaviness and the energy of them can really be appreciated through the studio work.songs like dimension, cosmic egg, back round are just songs that need that raw feel to them.like getting punched in the ears with all out rock.

just do what you guys feel.the TRUE wolfmother fans know you guys know whats best.

I really hope that some new material will reignite the passion that the fans had for Wolfmother in the past, but that I've felt has been missing for at least the last year if not longer.

The first EP and the debut album had a great feel, whatever you did with those two worked. I did not like the way Cosmic Egg turned out in terms of production, it sounded like it was messed with a lot, the keyboard was buried in the mix, etc. I heard a live version of Pilgrim and I thought it sounded a million times better than the studio cut. Like everyone else is saying, just keep it raw and natural.

    Default Agreed.

I completely agree with Danleary. Cosmic Egg had much more potential.
